CORRECTIONS RN NEEDED 13 WEEKS
$75 per hour
MUST HAVE IL RN LICENSE - NOT COMPACT
1 RN nights 7p-7a/11-7a
1 RN 3p-11p/7p-7a
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patient's health condition and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform various medical procedures such as gastric lavage, sterile processing, and CT scans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as necessary
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of acute care nursing practices and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Cerner
- Ability to perform laboratory tests and interpret results accurately
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail in documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to handle stressful situations with empathy and professionalism
- Knowledge of primary care principles for preventive health measures
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in state/region
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent education/experience
- CPR certification
- Minimum X years of experience in a clinical setting
